NEMA Uganda Recognizes EA SusWatch Network for good environmental performance

NEMA Uganda has appreciated EA SusWatch Network as an NGO in good environmental management and compliance to sound environmental management practices.

According to a letter dated May 31, 2015, NEMA Uganda also invites EA SusWatch Network to participate in the International World Environment Day celebrations for Uganda to be held June 5, 2015 at Sacred Heart Kiteredde SSS Playgrounds, Kyotera Town Council in Rakai District.

EA SusWatch will formally receive the token of appreciation during this event, tomorrow

Persons with disability around Lake Victoria in Masaka District collect plastic waste as a way of saving the environment but also as a way of earning income.


The East African Sustainability (SusWatch) Network is a network of NGOs from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania spearheaded by Uganda Coalition for Sustainable Development (UCSD), Sustainable Environmental Development Watch Network (SusWatch Kenya), and Tanzania Coalition for Sustainable Development (TCSD). EA SusWatch Regional Secretariat is hosted by UCSD in Kampala, Uganda.
